Definition
-
Bytebank: refers to the multi-currency digital wallet developed by
us based on distributed ledger technology, including other
auxiliary tools developed to facilitate your use of the blockchain
system.
-
Excluded persons:
-
A person other than a natural person who has the legal and
conscious ability to conclude this Service Agreement; or
-
Prohibited, restricted, unauthorised or ineligible to use the
service in any form or manner (in whole or in part) due to
this Service Agreement, laws, regulatory requirements or the
provisions of the jurisdiction applicable to the user (such as
as defined in this Service Agreement).
-
Identity: refers to the digital identity generated based on your
public and private key pair.
-
Create or import wallet: refers to the process of using Bytebank
to create or import a wallet after you accept this "Service
Agreement".
-
Wallet password: refers to the password you decide during the
process of creating the Bytebank wallet, which will be used to
encrypt and protect your private key. Bytebank is a decentralized
application. The wallet password is not stored on your mobile
device or our server. Once you lose or forget the wallet password,
you need to reset the wallet password with the help of a private
key or a mnemonic.
-
Information prompts: For the information prompts involved in the
operation interface of the Bytebank software, it is recommended
that you follow the relevant steps.
-
Private key: It is composed of 256 random characters and is the
core of digital tokens owned and used by users.
-
Public key: The private key is generated by one-way derivation
with the help of cryptographic principles, and is used to generate
the blockchain digital wallet address. The digital wallet address
is the public payment address.
-
Mnemonic words: In line with the blockchain BIP39 industry
standard, it consists of 12 (or 15/18/21/24) ordered words
generated by random algorithms. It is an easy-to-record
representation of the private key, which is convenient for you to
back up and keep.
-
Keystore: It is a file format in which the private key or mnemonic
is encrypted and saved by the wallet password you set. It is only
stored in your mobile device and will not be synchronized to our
server.
-
Digital tokens: refers to the types of digital tokens currently
supported by Bytebank, including but not limited to BTC, ETH, etc.
-
Materials: Refers to the articles and other materials in the
"Browse", "Market" and other sections on Bytebank. These materials
are owned by third parties and may not be reproduced without
authorization. These materials are for your information only and
do not constitute our guidance or advice for your trading.
-
Message Center: refers to the inbox where you can receive
information or notifications from us.
-
Personal information: refers to various information recorded by
electronic or other means that can identify the user’s personal
identity alone or in combination with other information, including
but not limited to personal biometric information, email address,
wallet address, mobile device information, operation records ,
transaction records, etc., but does not include the user's wallet
password, private key, mnemonic, and Keystore.
-
Smart contract: refers to a smart contract based on Ethereum that
aims to disseminate, verify or execute contracts in an
information-based manner, including but not limited to the
Tokenlon smart contract mentioned later.
-
refers to the tokenization of ether, because ether does not
conform to its own ERC20 standard, wrapping ether for
tokenization, which is convenient for ether to trade directly with
other tokens. The exchange ratio of tokens supported by Bytebank
to WETH is determined by a third-party smart contract.
-
ETH: refers to Ethereum, which is an encrypted digital token
related to the Ethereum blockchain. For the avoidance of doubt, it
does not include "Ethereum Classic".
-
Open source agreement: refers to the third-party open source
agreement that developers and users should follow when using
Bytebank open source code.
-
Third-party services: refers to the products and services provided
by third-party DApps, third-party smart contracts, third-party
open source protocols, third-party hardware wallets, third-party
web pages, third-party exchanges, etc.

relevant blockchain system (not in the Bytebank). actual delivery
or transfer of digital tokens).

When you transfer digital tokens to other wallet addresses, you
should judge by yourself whether the other party is a person with
full civil capacity during the transaction process and decide
whether to conduct transactions with the other party or transfer
to the other party.
-
During the transfer process, if there is a similar abnormal
message such as "transaction failure", "packaging timeout", etc.,
you should reconfirm through the official channels of the relevant
blockchain system or other blockchain query tools to confirm the
transaction. Avoid repeated transfers; otherwise, all losses and
expenses arising therefrom shall be borne by you.
